Strengthening Capacities in Genetics and Molecular Biology: Initial Experiences of i-4 at PACYT

This manuscript documents, for the first time, the isolation and amplification of DNA within the infrastructure of the Parque Cientifico y Tecnolog|ico (PACYT) at the Universidad Autónoma de Chiriquí (UNACHI). This milestone highlights the process of strengthening research capacities in genetics and molecular biology undertaken at the Interdisciplinary Research and Innovation Institute (i-4). These efforts have served as a foundation for the rapid publication of studies describing new species associated with these achievements.
