El diseño instruccional como práctica pedagógica en el aprendizaje en línea universitario

Resumen

La calidad de la enseñanza en la educación superior en línea e híbrida no depende únicamente de la tecnología utilizada; sino también, de las decisiones pedagógicas que configuran cada curso. La práctica docente universitaria y la expansión de la educación superior en las modalidades en línea e híbridas han evidenciado una separación frecuente entre la incorporación tecnológica y la planificación pedagógica. En este estudio se argumenta que el diseño instruccional no puede ser tratado como complemento o simple apoyo técnico, sino como práctica pedagógica en la que se planifiquen experiencias coherentes de aprendizaje. Mediante un enfoque teórico-reflexivo, se examinan en la educación superior en línea, algunos modelos que han guiado este campo, como el modelo instruccional ADDIE, los eventos instruccionales de Gagné, la Taxonomía de Bloom, el aprendizaje auténtico y el diseño del aprendizaje. El propósito es analizar la pertinencia y limitaciones en contextos universitarios mediados por la tecnología. Asimismo, ahonda en el papel del docente como diseñador de experiencias de aprendizaje y se examinan desafíos en la educación superior en línea:  coherencia pedagógica, formación docente, abandono estudiantil y articulación de las modalidades híbridas. Este trabajo busca fundamentar la importancia del diseño instruccional como práctica pedagógica consciente, no como un procedimiento técnico, sino como forma de mejorar la calidad de los cursos en línea e híbridos, entendidos desde una práctica centrada en la enseñanza y el aprendizaje humanizado acordes con las necesidades de la educación contemporánea.
